macOS isolates apps from each other. To know which window is in the foreground and attribute time to the right project, DriftVibe needs this permission. No keystrokes and no screen content are read or recorded.

System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility. Uncheck DriftVibe.

30 full days, all features unlocked, no credit card required. On day 31, you decide: yearly, lifetime, or nothing.

On day 31, DriftVibe shows a screen prompting you to pick a plan (yearly or lifetime) to continue. Your data is preserved. Until you purchase, the app stops recording new time, but your history remains viewable.

Yearly ($9.99/year) renews each year as long as you use it. Lifetime ($35.99) is a one-time payment with lifetime updates. After about 4 years of use, lifetime becomes the better deal.

Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions › DriftVibe › Cancel. Your data stays. You can resume anytime.

Refunds go through Apple. Request via reportaproblem.apple.com.

Open DriftVibe, go to Preferences › Projects, click "Choose folders" and select the root folder of the project. You can add multiple folders to a single project.

It's a folder DriftVibe couldn't identify (probably a temporary or auto-generated project). You can rename it or hide it from Preferences › Projects.

Time spent with Claude Chat, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Codex, Cursor or Xcode in the foreground, outside of any identified project. It's informational. If you're in Cursor with a project folder open, the time goes to the project, not to the satellite.

In the dashboard footer, click GOAL. Choose TIME (minutes) or HOURS, set the value. When the threshold is reached, you get a macOS notification. The counter resets at midnight.

In the app sandbox, locally. The projects.json file contains your projects and sessions. No copy is made anywhere else.

Uninstall DriftVibe. Everything disappears with the app, since nothing is stored elsewhere.
